K brought home some beautiful artwork from day care. His chubby little hands make some beautiful flowers, don’t you think?
It is proudly on display! I have an “art wall” idea that I hope to share with you soon. In the meantime…enjoy!

Cousins are important. I say this with certainty because my absolute best friend growing up was my cousin. Not just in a kindergarten “let’s swing beside each other” kind of way, (although we did that too). But in a “let’s be on the same teams, take the same classes, pick on our older brothers, compete together and win, overcome injury, go to the same college, have each others’ backs no matter what and take on the world” kind of way. One con to living away from home is that K won’t know his cousins like that. That makes me sad. Because he also has some great cousins.
The good news is, when they do get to visit, the moments will be treasured. Here are a few pics from K’s visit with his cousins!

Boo for poorly timed viruses. We were all very excited to have K’s cousin in our home this week. Not only would we get to know a growing baby niece better, she and my K could enjoy some play time!
Unfortunately, my K got hit with a virus mid morning on Monday and we ended up getting sent home. So while they are “near” each other. We haven’t allowed them to play “with” each other yet. K is feeling better, and has already returned to day care. That should make for some healthy play time this weekend! In the meantime, they’re both having their individual parties anyway!
