We enjoyed a quieter week appointment wise, and were able to settle in a bit more.
We transitioned the boys to their own beds.
That might seem scary if I weren’t still spending half of the night in their room. They “go to bed” after their 11-12 bottle. On a normal night they cry off and on until around their 2 – 3 am bottle. Then it takes about 30 minutes to settle them in, and they sleep until their 6 am ish bottle. (Don’t do the math, it will make you tired). Nonetheless, we felt we would rest easier making this change while they were still on monitors. We also bought fancy schmancy video monitors so we could stare at them while they sleep. So stare I do. And sleep they don’t.
Thanksgiving was busy with lots of family visiting. We were thankful they came to us since we couldn’t travel this year. K was Buzz Lightyear nearly the entire time. The boys took it all in stride, and seem more comfortable with the noise than the silence.
Here are a few pics!
I bet you can guess what we’re thankful for this year. 🙂
We give thanks to the Lord with you!
We are all thankful right along with you! Blessings!
Such sweet pics. K looks like he’s enjoying being the big brother. He’s such a doll.
