Today has been a wonderful day, for all 5 of us.  L is clearly feeling much better.  His color is good, his eyes have been open a lot, and he has even been smiling and making some of the sweetest coos and sighs!  We were able to enjoy a quiet, restful day full of cuddles.  At one point this afternoon I was drinking an iced chai tea latte, watching Pretty Woman, and holding a smiley L.  It’s hard to beat that for a lazy Saturday afternoon.

I’m hearing good reports from home too.  N is doing well, has a fresh NG tube placed by daddy, and now K and daddy are having a milkshake and movie night.

We have a very big week ahead, starting with tomorrow evening, but thanks to a couple of extra sets of hands, we think we handle whatever comes.
