I was able to join J at flight school this weekend as he continued to work on his hours. I met his instructor, snapped a few photos, and watched him successfully execute a take off! This new hobby has been very exciting for J, and we’re proud of the progress he’s making. He has in over 15 flight hours, as well as some ground school training. He’s well on his way!
For those of you panicking about the quiz to the right – relax! We will not go on a flight together until J is ready, I am in the appropriate “condition”, and even then, it will likely be to the nearest airport about 20 miles away! Nonetheless – we’re very excited about this new adventure, and if baby turns out to be a boy, the plane themed nursery will help “K” and I show how proud we are!
